Cooking to a timetable
NAR Ltd carries on other food service activities (SIC 56290) from The Racquets Court on College Street in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Our work is the regular kind: catering on contract for workplaces and organisations, daily staff dining and working lunches, and food for meetings and functions. It is less glamorous than a restaurant and considerably harder to keep good, because the same people eat with us again tomorrow.
That shapes how we work. Numbers, service times and dietary requirements are agreed before a menu is written, not after. Allergen information is collected as part of the brief and recorded, because a guess is never acceptable. Food safety procedures, temperature records and traceability are kept as routine rather than produced when somebody asks.
If you are feeding people on a regular basis and it is not going well, tell us the numbers, the times and the awkward parts, and we will come back with a menu and a costing.
